Hotel & restaurant Švamberský dům is located in the very heart of the ancient Český Krumlov, a uniquely preserved medieval gem of a town protected by the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1992.

Our hotel & restaurant, situated just beneath the central square in Soukenická street, is based in one of the most ancient gothic houses of Český Krumlov which has been carefully restored to offer our guests a warm welcome after their exploits of our beautiful town.

Many visitors of Český Krumlov also stop by our Hotel & restaurant to admire the precious colourful frescoes on our facade, dating from the late gothic period.

The history of our house may date more than 500 year back, however the entire building has been lovingly restored to cater for all demands of today's guests. Make our hotel your ideal base to discover the romantic Český Krumlov. Stay in one of our charming, very spacious en suite rooms, all different from each other. We take a special pride in our attic suites with original preserved medieval beams.

Stop by our restaurant located on the ground floor for a lovely meal. You can choose from a variety of dishes including some Bohemian specialties, salads, vegetarian dishes and desserts. Our specialty are dishes prepared on the open fire in front of our guests. Summer is the prefect time to enjoy our quiet sunny patio. We also provide special price-convenient menus for larger parties.
